I don't know know what to do with myself. Dan is gone. Jordan is gone. Tim is leaving. And everyone else is going to the other side of the globe.
This morning I, Reid, sat with my spiritual formation group from seminary. I heard a friend tell about the time that he went to Haiti. He said that caring for starving children wrecked him, and he has never seen America since. It was powerful for me to hear about what happened to him as he lived and served the Haitian people. I am very proud of all of you who are opening up your lives to be used around the globe, and I am excited to hear about all of the ways God is going to work in your hearts.
This week we're to get together at Whitney Kube's house. We are going to celebrate summer, celebrate the friends that are already gone (by putting packages together for them (that means get something to send them)), and help send off all of you who are going to be venturing off.
Come ready to share about YOUR mission work this summer.

Bouncing Thought
A couple weeks ago I was reading a book by Dallas Willard, and he said something like, "If we only knew the value of every person's soul, then we would live completely different." I am confident that he sounded much more like the professor of philosophy that he is, but that thought is still bouncing around inside of me.
